Jonathan Taylor CBE is chair of the School of Oriental & African Studies (University of London), a governor of the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and a director of the International Institute for the Environment and Development. He is also chair of the Booker Prize Foundation, Caine Prize for African Writing, and International Prize for Arabic Fiction. He was previously chair of Booker plc, the international agribusiness and food distribution company.
