Moniel Verhoeven is a cultural anthropologist with extensive field experience in West-Africa and Ile-de-France. Socio-economical and mental health problems are her key points of interest. She teaches on intercultural and symbolic communication and rituals in business, healthcare and education. She also has a broad experience in international marketing research and commerce. She reported to the French government, wrote a handbook for the Dutch National Health Service and published articles in France, Great- Britain, and the Netherlands. She created the Jean Monnet round table conferences on the peaceful use of European space programs for development. She is a member of the board of the European SPES Forum (Spirituality in Economics and Society, Catholic University, Leuven, Belgium) and member of the GAIC (Groupe d’Amitié Islamo-Chrétienne, Paris). |
