Niels Hanssens is an agricultural value chain development specialist with 20 years project management experience in Africa (Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Senegal and Zambia). As Winrock International’s Regional Coordinator in Mali, he supervised EUCORD’s initial portfolio of projects from 2003 to 2005. Following, he moved to Nigeria where he was Director Technical Services at the MARKETS project, USAID/Nigeria’s flagship agribusiness project. In 2009, he returned to EUCORD to assume the position of Deputy Managing Director.
